Things That Nobody Tells You About Being Trans Women

For women who went through transitioning, we are called transgender women. We were brought up as male. We have never really experienced being a woman before our transitioning. Therefore, being a woman is a totally strange concept for transgender beginners. Actually, there's huge difference with being a woman and in a trans date. They think, walk, eat, stand all differently. But besides these, there are still plenty of differences between them. They may be not so significant, but it still needs some time to get used to.

Clothing size. When you are recognized as male, you may have not gone through such experience. When you shop online, you think your clothing size is small, so you always buy yourself small-size clothes. When the packages are delivered, you found out that maybe one clothes of a store fit you perfectly. But the other one is too large or too small for you. Why they are different in the same size? You may wonder what is the need for not having a standardized clothing size. The same as for bras. A 34 A from Victoria's Secret is not the same as the 34 A from Target. This should be known beforehand. Also, this tells you that you must try it on before you buy it. Even if you shop online, you must refer to the detailed description and maybe the comments to see if there anything related to the size that could help you decide which size is fitter.

Bathrooms. After your transitioning, you may find out that where ever you go, there's always a line when going to lady’s rooms. The number of women waiting to go to the bathroom is always much more than men. When you used to go to men's room, they are usually so efficient. However, for women, they will need more time to do that. Also, the frequency of women going to bathrooms are higher than that of men’s. Therefore, do not withhold yourself and only go to bathrooms until you are unbearable, go a little bit earlier, because you may have to wait online for a little bit of time.

Sleep time. The sleep time of women's will be shorter than men's. When you present yourself as men, you may only have to get up 10 minutes earlier before you go to work. However, now, you have to get up at least 30 minutes earlier to do makeup, or you may risk to get clocked. You need to spend more time on dressing, makeup, hairstyle, etc. For the night, you have to remove your makeup, cleansing, do skin care, etc. There are lots of procedures for women, no matter it is in the morning or at night. You may lose lots of precious sleep time. You may also constantly feel tired and sleepy. But you will get used to it eventually.

Here are the little detailed you should know beforehand unless you want to be caught unprepared. Good luck to your transitioning.
